Candida Wiltshire is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New Jersey and Licensed Independent Social Worker Clinical Practice in South Carolina. She attended the University of Maryland Eastern Shore where she majored in Sociology. Candida completed her Master's of Social Work at Monmouth University with a concentration in Children and Families. Candida is open, compassionate, patient and ready to walk with you along this journey of self discovery.
Candida has experience providing therapeutic services for adolescents, families and adults of all ages. Candida has worked within a variety of mental health settings including residential substance abuse programs, in-patient psychiatric hospital units, in the community with the homeless, online providing virtual therapy, and in homes with youth and families.
Life can be challenging; Candida’s goal is to provide a safe space where individuals can develop practical solutions and tools to help cope through these situations. She works together with each individual to develop healthy options that are specific to every unique need. She is flexible and works with individuals across the lifespan.
Candida is also the Executive Producer of a short documentary "A Place of Their Own" which analyzes the housing crisis in Tent City located in Lakewood, NJ.. This is a solution driven film exploring homelessness in NJ, through a one-stop model shelter in Bergen county and a tent city in Ocean county.
